Verse Of The Day:
"Be still, and know that I am God"... (Psalm 46:10) [NIV] Verse Of The Day loading... Tuesday, August 24, 2010 the Lord is real and He listens. just sunday itself, i woke up and said to Him, "i commit this day to you. so please reveal something to me and touch me." well true enough, He did and He did it very clearly. the Lord spoke into me through many ways. He first did it through a song. He told me that there are so many things in the world there today. but there's nothing as much as His name. many things in this world can give us more chances and choices. however nothing is as hopeful as His name. then, God revaled to me a beautiful sight. after many years of church-going, i might have been overlooking the beauty of the community. He showed me a beautiful sight on the joy that people into the church. and indeed i was missing that. i do not know about u as u read this. hav u lost that too? lets get it back:D lastly, God showed Himself so real to me through the sermon. i'm still not too sure about this part as yet, but my guess is that He wants me to search and reflect on my faith once again. well the Lord is faithful. He first prepared my heart, planted a seed in me, and then revealed his message to me... wonderful! well brothers and sisters, if a little commitment to Him each day brings about such a wonderful promise and revalation, why chase after the many things on this earth instead of the King of Kings that brings hope to man... press on ppl!!!
indeed!! during cell group sharing i shared about how our days seemed ruined whenever we skip our morning quiet times.. but then again, i found that if we're truly "repentent", it might turn out to be not-so-bad cos we'll be talking to God on our way to church or school or anywhere else, and that indirectly counts as QT too.. but that shouldn't become a habit; but instead we should learn to make QT an integral part of our lives.. it empowers and it helps us plan our day.. as we run through the day's agenda to God in the morning, we can sometimes see how certain things can be optimised.. i remember someone saying that "the busier the day, the more time i'll spend with God".. i don't remember who said that, but it's my goal in life..
