I really love Rev. Lau's definition of true freedom:
TRUE FREEDOM IS BEING ABLE TO DO WHAT WE SHOULD

and i think it's really true. often we think that true freedom is being able to do what we want to do when we want.. but that's not really freedom because we're still controlled by our own desires, we find it hard to say no to such wants.. like food, sleep, drama, tv and all that..

very often, we know we should be praying, or reading the bible, or studying.. but we don't.. that's not freedom, that's being restrained by laziness..

today, i really ask God to give me true freedom, because we are all created free, but we chose to give up our freedom for short term joys.. let us all work towards the goal of reclaiming our freedom for ourselves, freedom to do what we should when we should!!

wow, and today's verse of the day speaks the same thing!! be self-controlled and alert!! for fellow christians are also undergoing the same suffering..
