Verse Of The Day:
"Be still, and know that I am God"... (Psalm 46:10) [NIV] Verse Of The Day loading... Tuesday, January 18, 2011 i'm very inspired after listening to a podcast of a sermon by Joshua Harris. have we thought of what is the "so that" of our prayers?? seriously, when we prayed our prayers, is it "so that i may live a better life" or "so that he can stop bugging me" or "so that they can stop persecuting me" or "so that i may become known as a better, or more righteous Christian"?? have we ever prayed a prayer SO THAT God may be glorified? then again, shouldn't EVERY prayer be like that? so that God can be glorified?? this post made me feel very guilty because i find it very true that the purpose of honouring and glorifying God isn't our main purpose of prayers.. it isn't even the purpose of our prayers at all!!
