the most important thing that i've learnt in the thursday apostle creed class is that - "our understanding of GOD NEVER CONFLICTS LOGIC". whatever about omnipotent VS omnipresent VS all-knowing VS free will, it all never contradicts God. Whatever contradiction is a gross misinterpretation and assumption of the understanding of God.

And one thing that really gave me great understanding about His permissive will and sovereign will is that - God knows all the possibilities of choices we have ahead of us, but he allows us to choose which path to take. this perfectly integrates God's all-knowing nature, and yet the human element of free will and how our choices ultimates affects ourselves and our salvation / condemnation.

yep, haha permissive & sovereign will. an interesting paradox in this- and i'm really thankful of it- is that God can will what He forbids to pass: He forbids the taking of an innocent life, but He willed that His Son be killed as a ransom for all! Just an awesome God we have..
