This year, Ash Wednesday begins on 22 February.

This also marks the start of the season of Lent, which typically reminds us of Jesus' 40 days of fasting in the desert that began his ministry - during which Jesus endured the temptation of Satan.

Easter occurs at the end of this 46 days. The day on which we remember Jesus paid the price for all of us so that we can be reunited with the Father.

It is a common practice to continuously pray for forgiveness and to repent to God, as we depend on God to resist the temptation of Satan. It is thus a good opportunity for us to likewise do so. :)
